‘Fit To Shift’ – (Sept. 6-8th 2012) 1st Public Showing of Work in Progress from Anya Mckee on Vimeo.

‘Moving houses, shifting feet, changing mind, lining up, tearing down, fitting in’.

Originally developed during Anya’s 2012 Australia Council JUMP mentorship with mentor Sue Healey, ‘Fit To Shift’ began as an exploration in how to merge live dance and dance-film in performance practice, and has unfolded into a developing work that explores our desire to shift or fit in different spaces of our lives.

This footage is from Fit To Shift’s first development, this project later went on to e part of National dance festival Dance Massive ‘Open Studios’ section, and in October 2013, became part of Dance Makers Collective’s (DMC) premier season at Riverside Theatre.
